I was lucky enough to be taken into the old LSU today to have a look at the progress, it's coming along. The (de)construction guys told me that they're still in the process of getting all the salvageable materials out and that the whole building will come down by very early February. They did say that while they do so they will be a considerable amount of noise, but it should be done within a few days!
